How to Build a Raku KIln - Free Raku Kiln Plans

This is a step by step break down for building a Raku Kiln for under $100. These plans are FREE for you to use and distribute to fellow potters!
I designed this kiln in 2007 when I was a senior in High School, and have built several since. The original kiln lasted over 5 years and that was with a pretty solid firing schedule throughout the better months here in WI.
The design is based off a few different designs I found online. Normally I would use clay buttons and high temp nichrome wire, but I wanted to see how the galvanized steel holds up.
Please let me know if you construct your own kiln using my plans. I want to know this documentation is being utilized for the bettering of my fellow craftsmen out there :)
